The
'seal' is an inherent requisite for the storage of a product in
a floating roof tank. For many decades, the Indian
Refinery Industry had to do with flawed seals. The entry
of
solid
foam seal proved to be a solution to all earlier problems. Perfected
to fulfill the most demanding service requirements and withstand
severe weather conditions,
solid foam seal is benchmark in durable and quality seals. Designed
to fill the annular gap between the floating roof and the tank
shell, the seal converts uniform pressure on the tank shell. Its
flexibility allows it to compensate for irregularities in the
shell, by maintaining accurate centering of the float roof. Reliable
in operation, immune to internal explosion, uncomplicated in design,
quick and easy to install, solid foam seal is far superior to
other types of seals. Moreover, replacement of the seal is extremely
safe and easy since installation and maintenance personnel need
not work under the floating roof. This Primary Seal is also accompanied
by an optional safety sealing accessory -- The Secondary Seal,
which caters to more extreme conditions and demanding specifications.
